The South Korean tenor Mario Bahg was selected as the "Lindemann Young Artist" of the New York Metropolitan Opera House after winning the 2018 Montreal Competition in Canada.He made his Met Opera debut with Massenet's <Manon>. Since then, he has performed in operas (Faust, Romeo et Juliette, Lucia di Lammermoor, Anna Bolena...) such as Cologne Opera, Lisbon, a Corunã, Seoul, Trieste, etc. He has Performed with many conductors such as Alain Guingal, Yannick Nezesguin, Kent Nagano, Teodor Currentzis, and Carina Kanellakis. His main repertoires include G. Verdi's Requiem, Beethoven's Symphony No. 9, J. Bach's Oratorio, and J. Haydn's Die Schöpfung, Mozart's Requiem etc... The Mario Bahg is Prize Winner of 2018 Montreal Music Competition, 2017 Queen Sonja Music Competition, 2016 Alcamo Music Competition. 

He graduated from Korea National of Arts with a bachelor degree and a master degree at Mannheim Musik Hoch Schule(Prof. Snezana Stamenkovic) in Germany
